Russia: logistics industry is on the rise
The role of logistics industry significantly increased in Russia and currently attracts huge investments, pandemic changed the behavior of the people – e-commerce is on peak, lack of labor power pushes the producing and retail companies to implement automation solutions and robotize the processes.
In 2021, key indicators of the warehouse segment updated their record values - the volume of demand for warehouse space in the Moscow region exceeded 2 million sqm, and the vacancy rate reached a historic low (1.1%) says Colliers International report.
A clear confirmation of these statements is the growth of exhibitions, including CeMAT RUSSIA, which are the reflection of the situation on the market. In 2021 they proved to be one of the most effective sales channels in Russia, where b2b trade fairs are allowed, number of exhibitors and visitors are increasing and events are held in accordance with all sanitary and health standards.
СeMAT RUSSIA is the only trade show of its kind in Russia where the professionals responsible for purchase and development of logistics facilities in own companies can explore the warehousing equipment and automation solutions. Next trade fair will take place in Moscow from September 20 to 22, 2022.
