CeMAT RUSSIA from the first hand

On September 21 the exhibition for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics – CeMAT RUSSIA – will open it doors to visitors.

On September 21 the exhibition for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics – CeMAT RUSSIA – will open it doors to visitors.  Less than 3 months are left before the trade show, and the professionals in the logistics market have a growing number of questions related to the upcoming event. What to expect for in 2021? How will access to the venue be arranged? How many companies will present their solutions? Director of the exhibition Natalia Kalmykova reports.

“The logistics business does not be at stop, and the exhibition must keep pace with it and remain a tool for further development. The spring exhibitions showed that the Russian exhibition market is ready to fulfill all the prescribed security measures, and holding business mass events can be safe.

I must say that the beginning of the year for the CeMAT RUSSIA team was even more alarming than the current situation. We regularly receive new requests for participation in the exhibition. Moreover, both from well-known companies and from absolutely new ones for us. Only in the last week and a half the participants included Stelkon, JAC, IP Corporation. For the first time, CVH, a MAGNI dealer, will present its solutions at the exhibition. It is more customary to associate this company with heavy special equipment, nevertheless, there are also solutions for a warehouse in their line. We think that the explosive interest in the logistics sector in Russia has become an incentive for this company to pay more attention to the development of this direction.

In addition, in 2021, the exhibition will be accompanied by the TRANSPACK expo, where packaging solutions for logistics will be presented. GOTEK, Sealed Air, Bristol Group, I-Plast and others. One venue - two exhibitions - the most complete chain of supply chain solutions.

More than 100 companies will take part in the exhibition. Foreign companies interested in the Russian market will be also represented. If last year they refused to participate, now the conditions of the protracted pandemic stimulate them to look for other ways. For example, to present the most promising products in their opinion through dealers. Thus, despite the objective decrease in the number of participants, the number of brands represented remains practically the same.

In short, preparations for the exhibition are proceeding normally. We are constantly in touch with representatives of the exhibition venue. The postponement, or even more so, cancellation is unacceptable neither for us, as an exhibition organizer, nor for Crocus Expo, nor for participants who have already suffered from missing the 2020 exhibition season. Therefore, of course, together we are doing everything possible to make the exhibition as safe and comfortable as possible for everyone".
