Digitalization in logistics: trends, tools, competencies, practice of application and obtaining business benefits

Modern logistics with its volumes and speeds is unthinkable without modern digital technologies. And it would seem that digitalization tools are already actively used in many companies, but at the same time, there are still disputes among specialists about what digitalization and digital transformation are; which processes can be considered the perimeter of digitalization, and which are related to automation. In addition, the following issues have not yet been resolved among logisticians: digitalization is a tool and an opportunity for everyone, or only for large companies; at what point and what structure to choose, who should be the leader of digital transformation in the team and, most importantly, what business benefits does the digitalization of logistics processes provide?

There are many questions, the answers to them are not yet unambiguous. We have gathered into a working group sessions of bright experts who are deeply involved in the process of digitalization of logistics both in their companies and advising clients on digitalization issues. During the session, we will present digitalization models that have proven their effectiveness, understand definitions, show global and Russian digitalization cases, and answer questions from logistics managers.

Are you just starting to digitize your logistics, or have you already gone a certain way in this direction? We tried to make the range of questions interesting for managers of various levels who are responsible for the logistics of their companies. Therefore, we called the session a workshop.
